Beldex is introducing a two-year strategic suspension of scheduled releases from its remaining allocated BDX holdings, marking a shift from quarterly token releases toward a longer-term approach to ecosystem development and token allocation.
Since December 2021, Beldex has followed a predefined quarterly token release schedule, making allocated BDX available from designated wallets to support ecosystem development, strategic initiatives, and network expansion.
Over the past several years, these allocations have supported the development of Beldex’s privacy-focused infrastructure, including BChat, BelNet, Beldex Browser, Beldex Name Service (BNS), and the broader Beldex network.
As Beldex enters its next phase of growth, the network’s priorities are evolving. With Privacy Tokens introduced on testnet, the development of EVM-compatible infrastructure, and continued work on cross-chain interoperability, Beldex is preparing to expand beyond its existing applications into an ecosystem that supports external developers, projects, and participants.
To support this transition, Beldex has decided to suspend the scheduled release of its remaining allocated BDX for two years, preserving these holdings in their designated wallets.
From Scheduled Releases to Long-Term Ecosystem Reserves
The quarterly BDX release schedule was established to support the network’s early development and expansion.
Since its introduction in December 2021, the schedule has provided a predictable framework for allocating tokens toward research, infrastructure, ecosystem initiatives, and strategic development.
Today, Beldex is moving into a different stage of its development.
The network is expanding its infrastructure to enable developers and projects to build privacy-preserving applications and issue confidential digital assets directly on Beldex.
This transition creates an opportunity to reassess how the remaining token allocations should be managed.
Rather than continuing quarterly releases irrespective of ecosystem development milestones, Beldex will preserve the remaining allocated tokens as long-term reserves, suspending their scheduled release for two years to align future token availability with the network’s next phase of growth.
The decision reflects a shift toward a more deliberate, long-term approach to token allocation.
Aligning Token Availability With Ecosystem Growth
Beldex’s roadmap includes several infrastructure developments intended to expand the network’s utility and participation.
Among the key initiatives are:
- Privacy Tokens on Mainnet: Enabling developers and projects to issue and manage privacy-preserving digital assets on the Beldex network.
- EVM-Compatible Sidechain: Expanding the ecosystem’s capabilities to support EVM-compatible applications and smart contract use cases.
- Native Cross-Chain Bridge: Enhancing interoperability and enabling asset movement between Beldex and other blockchain ecosystems.
- VRF-Based Consensus: Enhancing the network’s consensus mechanism through Verifiable Random Functions (VRFs) to improve validator selection, network security, and decentralization.
- Decentralized Identity Systems: Developing privacy-preserving identity infrastructure to support secure digital identities for users, applications, and AI agents across the Beldex ecosystem.
Together, these developments are intended to create new opportunities for developers, projects, and participants to engage with the Beldex ecosystem.
By preserving the remaining allocated BDX, Beldex intends to maintain resources that can support future ecosystem requirements as these capabilities mature.
The objective is to align future token allocation decisions with actual ecosystem development, participation, and utility rather than continuing releases solely according to a predetermined calendar.
The two-year suspension does not constitute a commitment to distribute these tokens immediately upon expiry. Any subsequent allocation or release arrangements will be communicated to the community.
Long-Term Supply Predictability
Token supply management plays an important role in the long-term development of a blockchain ecosystem.
Under the previous schedule, allocated BDX was released quarterly from designated wallets.
The new two-year suspension pauses these scheduled releases for the affected allocations, providing greater predictability regarding Beldex’s planned token distributions during this period.
This decision is intended to:
- Limit additional circulating supply arising from the previously scheduled wallet releases.
- Preserve allocated BDX for future ecosystem development and participation.
- Align future token availability with the network’s expanding infrastructure and utility.
- Reinforce a long-term approach to token allocation and supply management.
The suspension does not change BDX’s total or maximum supply. It changes the planned release schedule for the affected allocated tokens.
What Changes for BDX Holders?
The strategic suspension applies to the remaining BDX held in the designated Ecosystem Development and Seed & VC wallets covered by this decision.
It does not alter the BDX currently held by users, the operation of the Beldex network, or the ability to transact with existing circulating BDX.
The existing quarterly release schedule for the affected allocations will be suspended for two years, beginning on September 30, 2026, and continuing until September 30, 2028.
At the end of this period, the treatment of these reserves will be determined in accordance with the network’s future requirements and applicable allocation policies, with relevant details communicated publicly.
Designated Wallet Holdings and Verification
As of June 30, 2026, a total of 1,822,260,000 BDX was held in two designated wallets: the Ecosystem Development Wallet and the Seed & VC Wallet.
These holdings represent the remaining allocations covered by the decision to suspend scheduled quarterly releases for two years.

Token Release Suspension Mechanism
The allocated BDX tokens are held in designated Ecosystem Development and Seed & VC wallets.
Under the revised allocation strategy, scheduled quarterly releases from these wallets are suspended from September 30, 2026, until September 30, 2028.
These wallets are not multisignature wallets, and the suspension is an allocation-management commitment rather than a protocol-enforced or cryptographic lock on the tokens.
The remaining allocations are intended to be preserved in their designated wallets throughout the two-year period, with any subsequent release arrangements communicated publicly.
Verification Instructions
The wallet addresses and corresponding view keys are provided to support independent verification of the designated wallet holdings.
Users can use a compatible Beldex wallet or verification tool that supports view-key-based wallet inspection to review the associated transactions and balances.
The view keys provide visibility into wallet activity but do not grant spending access or independently enforce the two-year release suspension.
Total Designated Wallet Holdings as of June 30, 2026 (Ecosystem development + Seed & VC): 1,822,260,000 BDX
Beldex will continue communicating relevant changes to its token allocation and release arrangements to maintain transparency with the community.
Building for the Next Phase of Beldex
Beldex began as a privacy-focused blockchain and has since evolved into an ecosystem supporting private payments, communication, browsing, and decentralized identity.
The next phase of development focuses on expanding this infrastructure to support developers, external applications, confidential assets, and greater cross-chain interoperability.
The decision to suspend scheduled releases of the remaining allocated BDX for two years reflects this long-term direction.
As the Beldex ecosystem expands, our priority is to ensure that its remaining allocated resources are preserved for the opportunities and participants that will shape its future.
Rather than continuing token releases based solely on the passage of time, Beldex is taking a more measured approach, aligning its token allocation strategy with the network’s development and long-term ecosystem objectives.
